Combat Robotics 2017
I competed at a nearby massdestruction battlebots competition with a 3lb (Beetleweight) robot named AK.

The blade was made of steel and was manufactured on a HAAS mini mill at WPI.
The blade was designed to spin at about 10,000 RPM to deliver deadly hits as shown below in the video. Side plates were made out of HDPE and were connect to the 7075 Aluminum plates inside with standoffs.
